While March is always a contender for the least eventful month of the season, Bronny James has been one of the season’s most inspiring storylines. Less than two years after suffering cardiac arrest on the court, James recently set a new NBA career-high of 17 points and a new G-League career-high of 39 points.
In a recent episode of 7PM in Brooklyn, NBA legend Carmelo Anthony revealed his thoughts on the L.A. Lakers rookie.

“In a couple years, Bronny going to be a real NBA player. Like, a real, real solid NBA player,” Anthony said.

James had a slow start in both his limited NBA minutes and his G-League reps, but he’s been on a the rise for the last few months and is now first in points, assists and steals per game among G-League players that are 20 years old or younger.
Anthony is one of the best players ever and a close friend to LeBron James, so he’s more familiar with the James family than almost anyone. Bronny isn’t guaranteed NBA-level minutes every night, but if he continues to play this way, he’ll be part of the rotation in no time.
