The Indiana Fever went head-t0-head with the New York Liberty in Saturday’s preseason matchup and Caitlin Clark made her return to the court for the first time since last July. She saw limited action as the Fever secured a 109-91 victory.
Clark only played 17 minutes, but kicked the game off with a floater before knocking down a deep three moments later. Indiana held on to a solid lead before the Liberty put together a 10-0 scoring run to take a two-point lead.
The Fever responded to regain control through halftime and the third quarter.
In the final quarter, Indiana went on an impressive 21-4 scoring run to take full control and seal the win.
In 17 first-half minutes, Clark had seven points, three rebounds and four assists while Kelsey Mitchell and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough each put up 18 points.
