Nikola Jokic has been on a tear for the last four years. This season, he kept that streak going by making history once again.

Before this season, only Oscar Robertson and Russell Westbrook have ever averaged a triple-double for an entire season. Both players were point guards, so it made sense that they’d achieve such a feat.

Jokic has now officially joined that list after his 34th triple-double of the season in the Denver Nuggets 117-109 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. The three-time MVP put up 26 points, 16 rebounds and 13 assists.

This stat line has clinched Jokic’s triple-double average for the entire season. What makes Jokic’s achievement even more impressive is the fact the Serbian basketball star is a center and not a guard.

The only real question left is: Will Jokic claim the MVP he rightfully deserves? Or will voter fatigue take effect?
