Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is reportedly aiming to make his season debut tonight against the Utah Jazz after missing the first 14 games of the season due to sciatica.
James was assigned to the G-League last week to get practice reps in while the Lakers continued to play regular season games. After being called up and fully practicing with the Lakers on Monday, he’s been listed as a game-time decision for Tuesday’s matchup.
The final decision will be made after James’ pre-game routine. If he is cleared to play, James will officially become the first player in NBA history to play in 23 seasons.
The Lakers have fared relatively well without their starting small forward, sitting at fourth in the Western Conference with a 10-4 record.
