Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and his agent are reportedly in discussions with the Bucks regarding his immediate future with the team.

According to ESPN insider Shams Charania, they will explore trade options if they decide it would be best to part ways.

ESPN also reports that Antetokounmpo asked the Bucks for a trade before this season started, naming the New York Knicks as his preferred destination.

While the nine-time All-Star has continued to play at an elite level this season, the Bucks are 9-13 and have lost eight of the last nine games.

Antetokounmpo has been one of the more loyal superstars of the last decade, but it wouldn’t be shocking if his tenure in Milwaukee ended this season.
