Breaking: ESPN demotes Doris Burke in favor of Tim Legler

It had been hinted at all last season during NBA games that aired on ESPN. Now, it has become a reality. ESPN has demoted Doris Burke from the NBA Finals broadcast team.

It has been reported that former NBA player Tim Legler will be Burke’s replacement.

It should be noted to all fans of Burke that she will likely remain as an NBA commentator, but on ESPN’s No. 2 broadcast team. Burke’s contract with ESPN is up after this upcoming season, and it is reported that a contract extension is likely.
