Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow threw three touchdown passes and rushed for a fourth score to lead his team to a 34–17 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Madrid on Sunday — their fourth consecutive win.

Burrow completed 24 of 29 passes for 271 yards. Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase caught 10 passes for 155 yards and one touchdown, including 142 yards before halftime. Tee Higgins had two touchdown receptions.

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson rushed for 100 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries and added 47 receiving yards on six receptions. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. completed 20 of 31 passes for 162 yards with one touchdown and one interception, and rushed for 50 yards.

The game was played at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium under a closed roof. A crowd of 78,660 attended — the second NFL regular-season game in Spain, following the Miami Dolphins’ 16–13 overtime win over the Washington Commanders in last year’s inaugural game in the country. It was the seventh of nine international games on the NFL’s record international schedule this season.

Chase celebrated a 47-yard first-quarter touchdown with Higgins in bullfighting style — Higgins mimicking a bull with hands on his head, Chase using an imaginary cape as matador. With under two minutes remaining, stadium lights briefly went out as the Bengals took a snap, prompting officials to replay the down.

The Bengals improved to 6–2 and scored 30 or more points in four straight games for the first time since 1997. The Falcons fell to 3–6 and lost for the second consecutive week.

Cincinnati hosts the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football on November 15. Atlanta hosts the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
