Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards received his 18th technical foul of the season on Friday during a matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. The foul would immediately result in a suspension, but the NBA announced on Saturday that the technical foul has been rescinded.
“I tried to play good defense, they called a foul and I said, ‘Where was the effing foul?’ And they gave me a tech,” Edwards explained. “I hope they look at it and rescind it so I can play in a couple days.”

Anthony Edwards has had a career season, but the Minnesota Timberwolves have been a roller coaster. A win over the Jazz on Sunday would secure a top-six seed for Minnesota, but a loss could send them all the way down to the 8th seed.
Minnesota had higher expectations than a play-in appearance, but if Edwards continues his hot streak, they can avoid such a fate.
