He is not the star of the team, but in his eighth NBA season Alex Caruso has been highly impactful this postseason.

The former Texas A&M standout learned how to win a league championship in 2020, assisting LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers to a Larry O’Brien Trophy in the 2020 Coronavirus bubble playoffs.

He spent four seasons in Los Angeles and three with the Chicago Bulls, but now he’s back in a place he’s familiar with. Caruso is on his third franchise, but his effort and hustle has Oklahoma City one victory from capturing an NBA Championship.

The 31-year-old has done some of everything in this year’s NBA Finals from hitting 3-point shots, having 20-point performances, to putting his body on the floor for steals.

Alex Caruso makes history in the Finals

He wants to be a champion again and has been outstanding in this series versus Indiana. Caruso scored 20 points in Game 2 and Game 4 as OKC took both matchups. He recorded four steals in Game 5 and five in Game 4 to put games away.

Caruso understands one final showing of toughness is all he needs to have a second ring on his hand.

Game 6 is Thursday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind.
