No. 11 Louisville Cardinals defeated Morehead State Eagles 107–57 on Saturday at home.
Freshman center Obinna Ekezie Jr. scored 20 points and pulled down 13 rebounds off the bench. The 7-foot-2 forward shot 8 of 12 from the field and made three of six 3-pointers.

Louisville improved to 2–0. Morehead State fell to 1–2.
The Cardinals received 56 points from reserves. Karter Knox scored 15, Isaac Ellis added 10, and Adrian Wooley contributed 12 points, five rebounds and four assists. Seven Louisville players reached double figures in scoring.
After trailing 9–2 early, Louisville answered with a 17–3 run over 5 minutes, 50 seconds to seize control. The Cardinals led 46–33 at halftime and outscored Morehead State 40–2 during the first 12 minutes, 33 seconds of the second half.
Louisville shot 53.6% (37 of 69) overall and 34.2% (13 of 38) from 3-point range. The Cardinals outrebounded Morehead State 59–23 — including 20 offensive boards — and converted those into 28 second-chance points. Morehead State shot 33.3% (21 of 63), including 6 of 18 from beyond the arc. Clayton Parker led the Eagles with 19 points and four 3-pointers.
Louisville’s previous game was an 84–70 win over Chattanooga on Monday. Morehead State hosts IU Indianapolis next Saturday. Louisville visits Memphis next Sunday.
