San Diego Toreros Edge Tarleton State 96-90 in Overtime

San Diego overcame a 14-point halftime deficit to beat Tarleton State 96–90 in overtime, led by Dusty Stromer’s 22 points.

San Diego Toreros men's basketball defeated Tarleton State Texans 96–90 in overtime on Friday night.

Dusty Stromer scored 22 points — 18 in the second half and all 12 of his free throws — to lead San Diego’s comeback. Chace Holley added six of his 13 points during the extra period.

T.J. Cope led Tarleton State with 20 points. Leroy Kelly IV recorded 19 points and six rebounds. Franck Emmou had 17 points and six assists.

According to The Associated Press, San Diego is 2–0 and Tarleton State is 1–1.
