The first round of the 2026 NBA Draft is in the books and this draft class is especially loaded with freshman talent at the top.

BYU star AJ Dybantsa had the honor of being selected with the No. 1 pick by the Washington Wizards after an outstanding freshman season for the cougars.

As expected, Kansas star Darryn Peterson was selected by the Utah Jazz with the second pick before Duke’s Cameron Boozer went No. 3 to the Memphis Grizzlies and North Carolina’s Caleb Wilson went to the Chicago Bulls at No. 4.

As the first round of the draft played out, fans from around the league chimed in with all sorts of reactions.

Just like every draft class, this one will certainly prove to have a number of pleasant surprises and disappointing prospects.

But as it stands, most fans seem pleased by the pick their respective squads made.
