Ticket prices for Game 3 of the NBA Finals surpass $150,000 each

The 2026 NBA Finals begin on Wednesday and the demand for tickets appears to be at an all-time high. While ticket prices for Games 1 and 2 in San Antonio are high, the prices for Game 3 in Madison Square Garden are astronomical.

As of publication, tickets near courtside for that matchup are selling for over $162,000 each on SeatGeek. While those are premium seats, even the cheapest tickets in the nosebleeds for Game 3 are going for nearly $5,000 each.

In fairness, this series is shaping up to be one for the ages. In a rematch of the 1999 NBA Finals, a Knicks team that has been red-hot for weeks is matched up against a young Spurs team that just took down the reigning champions.

New York hasn’t been to the NBA Finals since 1999. Combine that with the fact that MSG is arguably the most popular arena in the world and the result is a mind-blowing price just to get in the door.

When it comes to the best seats available, three tickets could cost you nearly half a million dollars.

If both teams perform at their highest level throughout the series, those in attendance likely won’t bat an eye at the ticket prices.
