Once again, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has reached yet another ground-breaking NBA milestone. He is now the first player in NBA history to play in 300 career playoff games.

The 41-year-old is widely regarded as one of the two greatest players in the history of basketball and he continues to add to his resume.

The Lakers need him at his best in this second-round matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the best team in the NBA. Los Angeles suffered an 18-point loss in Game 1 as James was the only Lakers player to score 20 points or more.

James’ playoff longevity is more than unprecedented. Only nine other players in NBA history have even reached 200 career postseason outings.

While he’s been the third option for the Lakers throughout the regular season, both Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves have dealt with injuries.

They’ll need him at his best if they want to pull off a comeback against the red-hot Thunder.
