The Cleveland Cavaliers were on fire on offense Saturday as they took down the Toronto Raptors 126-113 in Game 1 of their first round matchup.

Scottie Barnes and the Raptors got off to a strong start early and got out to a small lead. The Cavaliers got out to a slower start than expected, but that didn’t last long.
Cleveland ended the first quarter on a 7-0 run, a sign of things to come later on.
In the second quarter, both defenses came out with adjustments. As both teams cooled off on offense, Cleveland maintained the advantage.
By halftime, the Cavaliers were ahead by seven.
The third frame is when Cleveland took control of the matchup. Max Strus got hot for the Cavs as Toronto’s offense struggled to find momentum.
The Raptors made just five of their 14 shot attempts in the third quarter as Cleveland remained ahead by double-digits.
As the final quarter began, Cleveland’s lead expanded to as many as 24 points. Down the stretch, turnovers and missed shots stopped the Raptors from making any sort of real comeback.
For Cleveland, Donovan Mitchell led the way with 32 points on 11-of-20 shooting while James Harden put up 22 points and 10 assists and Strus had 24 points on 8-of-10 shooting.
RJ Barrett was Toronto’s leading scorer with 24 points on 7-of-13 shooting while Barnes finished with 21 points and seven assists.
