The Miami (OH) Redhawks are no longer undefeated after the UMass Minutemen pulled off a stunning upset in the MAC Championship Quarterfinals on Thursday.

After a tightly contested first half, the Redhawks appeared to be in control with an 11-point advantage with just eight minutes to play.
That’s when UMass exploded for a quick 13-2 run to tie it up as the final five minutes began.
After both offenses went back and forth, Umass’s Daniel Hankins-Sanford sank a lead-taking layup with just under 30 seconds to go.
The Minutemen were able to maintain their lead and secure the upset win.
The top-seeded Redhawks are now in danger of missing the NCAA Tournament after falling to the 8th seed in the MAC Championship.
