On top of having a sizzling performance, Murray’s 52 points led to the Denver Nuggets making NBA history. This was the third time a Nuggets player scored at least 50 in a game this season. The other two players are Jokic and Aaron Gordon.
The Nuggets join the 1961-62 Los Angeles Lakers and the 2018-19 Golden State Warriors as the only teams to achieve this feat.
