Shohei Ohtani made history during Game 3 of the World Series on Monday night by becoming the first player in MLB history with three multi-homer games in a single postseason.

He hit a 389-foot solo home run in the bottom of the third inning to increase the Dodgers’ lead to two.

After the Blue Jays sent in four runs in the fourth inning, Ohtani hit another impressive solo home run in the seventh inning to tie the game 5-5.

Not only did Ohtani crack two home runs, he also went 4/4 at the plate with three RBI. He was intentionally walked in the bottom of the ninth as the matchup went to extra innings.

After nine extra innings with no runs, Freddie Freeman hit a solo walk-off home run in the 18th inning to win it for the Dodgers.

The L.A. Dodgers now hold a 2-1 World Series lead over the Toronto Blue Jays, thanks in part to Ohtani’s outstanding batting.
