Michael Jordan is returning to the NBA in a role with NBC. This makes sense since the rise of the NBA in the 1990s was largely thanks to Jordan’s play and NBC’s coverage.

Jordan’s new show will be called “MJ: Insights to Excellence” and feature MJ sitting down with NBC’s Mike Tirico. After the announcement of the show, which will air during halftime of the Thunder-Rockets game on opening night, fans reacted on social media.
