Jackson, a two-time All-Star, received a five-year, $240 million maximum renegotiation and extension from Memphis.
ESPN’s Shams Charania broke the news Monday evening as the two-time NBA All-Defensive First-Team selection led the league in blocks in 2022 and 2023. Jackson, 25, was selected at No. 4 overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Grizzlies after a successful collegiate career at Michigan State University. The 2023 NBA Defensive Player of the Year averaged 22.2 points and nearly two blocks (1.5) per game last season. Jackson is coming off back-to-back seasons of averaging 20 points or more.

He has been to the Western Conference playoffs in four of seven seasons with Memphis, including the 2024-25 campaign.
The Grizzlies now have its presence in the paint moving forward.
