The Indiana Pacers are a team of fighters. Tyrese Haliburton went down with a game-ending injury with 4:55 remaining in the first quarter, yet Indiana leads 48-47 after one half of play.

Haliburton appeared to be on his way to having a monster game. He scored nine points in seven minutes of play on 3-5 shooting, including 3-4 from downtown.

When Haliburton went to make a drive but fell to the floor, Pacers fans went red in the face. They knew immediately their star suffered something serious and that it would likely be the end of his night.

That all, unfortunately, became reality. Haliburton suffered, most likely, an Achilles injury. He was ruled out for the remainder of Game 7.

As Haliburton was helped off the floor, the entire NBA world reacted on social media to his unfortunate injury.

It will be extra hard for the Indiana Pacers to win the NBA championship without their star point guard. He’s their leader and the player who has stepped up in the clutch all postseason long.

Still, if there’s a team that can prove the doubters wrong, it is this year’s Indiana Pacers.
