Michael Jordan and NBC were the perfect team during the 1990s. Jordan’s play on the court was legendary, and NBC’s coverage of Jordan and the league made watching basketball a cinematic experience.

The NBA on NBC X account recently announced Jordan will join the team as a special contributor. This includes their coverage on Peacock, NBC’s streaming platform.

NBC hasn’t had the rights to cover the NBA since 2002. With the company regaining the rights, NBC is looking to cause a bang. Adding the GOAT, Michael Jordan to the NBC team, is a great, and nostalgic move.
