Anthony Davis was part of a trade that sent shockwaves through the NBA world in February when he was dealt to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Luka Doncic. Other players and draft picks were involved in the deal, but Doncic for AD was the headline.
After going down with an adductor injury in his debut with the Mavericks on Feb. 8 and missing the last 18 games, Davis made his return on Monday night against the Brooklyn Nets.

In just 27 minutes of action, AD put up 12 points, six rebounds and three assists on 6-of-9 shooting. While the minutes restriction and rustiness may have kept him from his usual 20 and 10, he shot very efficiently and helped the Mavs defeat the Nets 120-101.

To the delight of Mavs fans, Davis remained healthy throughout the entire game and played until late in the 4th quarter. After destroying Brooklyn through forced turnovers, the Mavericks have won two straight games and look to extend their streak against the New York Knicks on Tuesday.
