The 76ers entered the game looking for an easy win, as the Warriors were without both Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler. They started strong, leading 56-34 by halftime.

Then, Golden State went on a 22-6 run in the fourth quarter to go up 93-92 with three minutes remaining.

The game ended up going down to the final seconds with De’Anthony Melton of the Warriors first blocking the 76ers’ Tyrese Maxey’s shot. Luckily for Philadelphia, rookie V.J. Edgecombe retrieved the rebound and made the game-winning basket with 0.9 seconds remaining.

Melton had one last chance to win the game for Golden State, but Maxey returned the favor and blocked his shot as time expired. Maxey finished with 35 points for the 76ers and one clutch block.
