The Oklahoma City Thunder continue to prove why they are the best team in the league. They have taken a 2-0 series lead after a dominating 118-103 victory.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continued to play like the MVP he is, scoring 38 points on 12-21 shooting. The Timberwolves’ star Anthony Edwards had a solid game, scoring 32 points.

The problem was Edwards got no help tonight. Julius Randle, who has been playing great basketball as of late, struggled, scoring just six points on 2-11 shooting.

Oklahoma City’s defense has been special all season long and has proven to be the difference in these playoffs. If OKC continues to play this way, they’ll likely hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy come June.

After the game, fans expressed their opinions on the Thunder taking a 2-0 series lead on X.

Minnesota is in a lot of trouble. If they don’t figure out how to slow Gilgeous-Alexander as well as figure out OKC’s defense, they could easily be swept. The Thunder are a special team and they will look to take a 3-0 series lead on Saturday when they play Game 3.

Tip-off is at 8:30 PM EST.
