Tyler Herro knows his team is in danger, but how will he and the Miami Heat respond?

The former Kentucky standout sees his group down 0-3 to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs after a 87-124 loss in Game 3. Herro totaled just 13 points on five-of-13 shooting from the field. He recorded two straight 20-plus point games — including 33 points in Game 2 — in the first two matchups of the series. Cleveland looks to have Darius Garland back for Game 4, but the can the Heat avoid a sweep? Herro has made it his mission to not go down on Monday.

“We are not going down 4-0,” Herro said in his postgame presser.

He said Miami wanted to get into the playoffs and it fought its way through the NBA’s Play-In Tournament.

Herro said the guys in the locker room are not ready to let go of the rope. The Cavs are deeply talented, but Herro, Adebayo, and Andrew Wiggins must find a way to make this a series. We will see what fight Miami has Monday night.
