The Oklahoma City Thunder have clinched the all-time best record against the opposing conference in NBA history. After securing an easy 145-117 victory over the Chicago Bulls, OKC is now 28-1 against the Eastern Conference this season.

MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had another stellar game recording 27 points and adding 12 assists in just 27 minutes of action.

Yes, the Thunder are making history this season in more ways than just one. OKC is currently tied with the legendary 1996 Chicago Bulls with the highest net-rating by an NBA team at 13.4. At 63-12 and with seven games remaining in the season, OKC could possibly win 70 games, becoming just the third team in league history to achieve such feat.

Ultimately, even if the Thunder achieve 70 wins to add to the all-time best record against the opposing conference, it will mean little without an NBA title. That remains the ultimate goal, and Gilgeous-Alexander is ready to pursue it.
