Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James had a rough outing on Monday night as the Lakers lost their third straight game, this time to the Orlando Magic. He still finished with 24 points, seven assists and six rebounds, but the Lakers looked lost.
Not all is grim though, as his son Bronny James spent his Monday in the G-League, and had a career night.

Bronny put up a career-high 39 points along with seven rebounds, four assists and four steals for the South Bay Lakers as they beat the Santa Cruz Warriors 122-118. LeBron took to social media after the game and gave his some some words of encouragement.

Bronny spoke after the game about wanting to prove that he’s NBA ready, “I belong out here. It’s all I’m trying to prove.”
While he may still have a while before he’s consistently on the NBA roster, he’s currently the youngest player in the G-League averaging at least 20 points, five rebounds and five assists.
It’s safe to say he’s not just here because of his last name.
