LeBron James unveils new signature training shoe

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has one of the most popular sneaker lines in the NBA and has just unveiled his first training shoe, the LeBron TR1’s.

Nike has officially revealed photos of the four new colorways titled “Dunk Man,” “Zero Dark 30,” “Purple Rain,” and “Better With Age.” The shoe consists of a lightweight mesh upper, and a versatile fit for both indoor and outdoor use.

Nike reported that James emphasized style and all-day wearability when working on the design of the shoe. They also included an “inverted waffle” outsole, one that will provide traction in several environments. The first color way, “Dunk Man”, will be released on September 19 with the other colorways scheduled to release in the near future.

James will surely be wearing his newest signature basketball shoe on the court this season, but expect to see him working on his game in the LeBron TR1’s.
