LiAngelo Ball is the lone Ball brother not to have a home in the NBA. He almost did, as he signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Charlotte Hornets this past summer. Unfortunately, LiAngelo was cut before the season started.

Still, LiAngelo had an opportunity to showcase his skills, in limited minutes granted, but he still saw playing time. In this article, we will recap LiAngelo Ball’s preseason stats.

LiAngelo’s preseason stats

LiAngelo Ball has been cut by the Charlotte Hornets, but he’s returning to their G League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm. There, he’ll be looking to show the Hornets that they made a mistake by cutting him.

For the Hornets, LiAngelo appeared in three preseason games, where he averaged 1.0 point per game in only 4.7 minutes per game. LiAngelo also played in the Summer League, where he played in three games, averaging 6.0 points per game.

The problem here is LiAngelo doesn’t seem to be getting a fair opportunity, as he continually sees low minutes of action. Maybe this season with the Swarm, LiAngelo will see more minutes and prove all his doubters wrong.
