The Charlotte Hornets dropped their third straight preseason game against the Boston Celtics tonight. Despite losing 112-103, there were some highlights from the Hornets, like when LaMelo Ball dropped a dime to Mason Plumlee.

LaMelo drops a dime to Mason Plumlee against the Celtics
In the loss, LaMelo scored 23 points on 8-22 shooting and 3-9 from three. Despite his struggles to shoot, LaMelo played great. He added 4 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals to go along with his 23 points.
LaMelo also had the highest +/- on the Hornets with a +11. He did foul out of the game with 9:29 remaining in the fourth quarter, but that doesn’t take away from his performance.
