LaMelo drops a dime to Mason Plumlee against the Celtics

In the loss, LaMelo scored 23 points on 8-22 shooting and 3-9 from three. Despite his struggles to shoot, LaMelo played great. He added 4 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals to go along with his 23 points.

LaMelo also had the highest plus-minus rating on the Hornets with a +11. This shows how effective LaMelo was while being on the floor for Charlotte. 

The negative point is that LaMelo did foul out of the game with 9:29 remaining in the fourth quarter, but that doesn’t take away from his performance.

Plus, it doesn’t take away from LaMelo adding another great play to his personal highlight-reel. He is one of the most exciting players to watch in the entire NBA.

Hopefully, the young guard will be able to add wins next to his impressive highlight-reel. Then, he can become a true superstar in the NBA.
