LaMelo Ball is growing up right before our eyes as he enters year three of his NBA career. The budding superstar made a name for himself very quickly in the league earning Rookie of the Year honors, and his first All-Star Game appearance last season.
With grown-man status attached to his name now at 21, expectations from pundits, as well as himself will increase each year.
Yesterday afternoon, LaMelo sent out a simple tweet giving thanks to God. Why? Who knows for sure. Maybe he is just thankful for the blessings bestowed upon him currently. Maybe an unknown situation he’s dealing with has been resolved.
Either way, there is much to be thankful for. Additionally, the Charlotte Hornets have much to be thankful for as well. LaMelo finished last year averaging 20.1 points on 42.9% shooting, 6.7 rebounds, 7.6 assists – ninth in the NBA – and 1.6 steals in 75 games.
