WATCH: Patriots CB Carlton Davis III pulls off unreal interception

The New England Patriots have been locked in defensively to start Sunday’s AFC divisional round matchup against the Houston Texans.

Their impressive first quarter was highlighted by a spectacular interception by Patriots CB Carlton Davis III.

As Davis snagged the errant throw by Texans QB CJ Stroud, he was barely able to keep his left knee in bounds as it made contact with the ground, making it a legal interception.

The momentum boost would be short-lived though, as the Patriots gave the ball back after QB Drake Maye had the ball punched out of his hands.

As the second quarter began, the Texans capitalized on the turnover and scored a touchdown to take a 10-7 lead.
