WATCH: Oklahoma fan slams LSU staffer over football

An OU fan tackles an LSU staffer to the ground as they fight for possession of a football before tipoff.

During yesterday’s pregame warmups ahead of LSU’s matchup against Oklahoma, tensions were already high. One particular OU fan went as far as to slam an LSU staffer to the ground over a football that the fan had gotten his hands on.

As LSU staffers attempted to retrieve the ball from the fan, things got physical.

As the battle for the ball ensued, the fan wrapped up the employee’s legs and flipped him onto his back. The seemingly intoxicated fan then launched the ball upwards into the stands.

Even after the ball was retrieved, LSU staffers appeared to be in a scuffle with the fan before security stepped in.

Fortunately, it appears that the unruly spectator was escorted from the game before tipoff.
