The No. 1 Michigan Wolverines took care of business on the road against the No. 7 Purdue Boilermakers on Tuesday, securing a 91-80 victory.

Both squads opened the game with solid defense and after nearly three scoreless minutes, Purdue finally broke the seal and scored the first bucket.
The Boilermakers were able to carve out a five-point lead early, but Michigan responded swiftly.
Almost immediately, Michigan retook the advantage thanks to relentless rebounding and strong shooting. They put together a strong run to go up by 10, leading the rest of the way.
Michigan’s strong effort was characterized by elite defense and impressive rebounds, especially on the offensive end.
They are now off to the best start in school history at 25-1 while Purdue falls to 21-5 with the loss.
