Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had a disappointing outing against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday.

With three interceptions and zero passing touchdowns, Monday’s 22-19 overtime loss was one of the worst games of Hurts’ season.

He also found himself on the wrong side of NFL history, becoming the first player since at least 1978 to commit two turnovers in a single play.

After Hurts threw a second-quarter interception to Chargers lineman Da’Shawn Hand, Eagles RB Will Shipley hit Hand and forced a fumble.

That’s when Hurts recovered the fumble, but Chargers tackle Jamaree Caldwell punched the ball right back out of the quarterback’s hands before a Chargers recovery.

The incredibly rare play caught fire online for it’s next-level chaos. The Eagles kept the game competitive despite his off night, but Hurts was picked off for the fourth and final time at the end of overtime.
