The Georgia Bulldogs took down the Alabama Crimson Tide 28-7 on Friday to secure their second straight SEC championship.

Bulldogs QB Gunner Stockton was vital for Georgia with 156 passing yards and three passing touchdowns while completing 20 of his 26 pass attempts.

Alabama struggled mightily to get any sort of ground game going and finished the game with -3 rushing yards. They were completely scoreless until Ty Simpson found Germie Bernard in the end zone early in the fourth quarter.

Aside from that touchdown, Alabama simply couldn’t generate enough offense to score on Georgia’s defense.

While Georgia is now likely to get a bye, Alabama’s spot in the CFP may now be in question.
