WATCH: Goalie fight breaks out in the Stadium Series

During the second period, multiple scrums broke out between the Bruins and Lighting following a hit from Lightning’s Brandon Hagel. A goalie fight later broke out between Bruins’ Jeremy Swayman and Lightning’s Andrei Vasilevskiy.

This is the second goalies fight in the NHL this season. The first happened back on Jan. 19 between Panther’s Sergei Bobrovsky and Sharks Alex Nedeljkovic.

The Bruins are looking to make a statement win against Lighting. The Lightning currently stand as the number one seed in the Eastern Conference while the Bruins currently hold the last spot in the wildcard.

This is the second meeting between the two teams this season. The Lightning won the previous game back on Oct. 13 by a score of 4-3.
