He had another impressive performance Sunday against the Philadelphia 76ers. The league’s ice man dropped a game-high 28 points, including four made 3-point shots on six attempts. Young had 12 assists, a rebound, and a steal while shooting seven-of-12 from the field in a 132-119 victory for the Hawks — pushing its win streak to three games. He recorded a double-double for points and assists in two of the last three matchups for Atlanta and scored 25-plus points in all three wins. Young has the Hawks in the play-in tournament as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference, but he wants to help improved its seeding.

He looks to freeze the Houston Rockets in Tuesday’s road matchup against a Western Conference opponent.
Atlanta suffered a loss to the Clippers in the last time it was on a winning streak (four games).
Hopefully, Young can have his group avoid a letdown this time.
