In the second game of their first-round Western Conference matchup on Tuesday, the Oklahoma City Thunder once again took care of business against the Memphis Grizzlies with a 118-99 victory.
OKC looked unbeatable on both ends of the floor and finished the first quarter with a 32-17 lead.

The Grizzlies’ offense recovered well and scored 35 points in the second quarter, but their defense was struggling and gave up 38 points in the same span.

Ja Morant and the Grizzlies made smart defensive adjustments in the third quarter and were able to outscore the Thunder by seven in the third frame.
But the Thunder started the final quarter off with a 15-2 scoring run to extend their lead and coast to the victory. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 27 points, eight rebounds and five assists while Jalen Williams had 24 points and six rebounds.
For Memphis, Jaren Jackson Jr. had 26 points and six rebounds while Ja Morant put up 23 points and six assists.
The Thunder are playing like title favorites right now and the Grizzlies will need to be at their best for Game 3 in Memphis on Thursday if they want to avoid a 3-0 deficit.
