The Texans ended the regular season as the number one defense and proved it in their 30-6 win over the Steelers. It’s the lowest amount of points Aaron Rodgers has scored in 22 playoff starts.

The Texans’ defense relied on big plays to pull out the win. A 33-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Sheldon Rankins and a 50-yard pick-six from Calen Bullock in the fourth quarter helped seal the deal. The Texans also held the Steelers to 2/13 on third downs and 0/2 in the redzone.
The Texans also had crucial players step up on offense. Wide Receiver Christian Kirk had his first game of 100-plus receiving yards since November 2023. Rookie Woody Marks had 112 yards rushing yards, his second highest of the season.
The Texans next game will be against the Patriots, who are the second seed in the AFC.
