Reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III has agreed to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs, per NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
The signing is a huge move to open NFL free agency as the Chiefs grab one of the most coveted players on the market.
While Walker put up career-highs in scrimmage yards and yards per carry for the Seahawks last season, it was his playoff explosion that shocked the NFL world the most. He cashed in four touchdowns across three playoff games before securing the Super Bowl MVP.
The signing comes just hours after it was revealed that star TE Travis Kelce is expected to return to the Chiefs for a 14th NFL season.
With their veteran TE likely on the way back next season to go along with a new RB1, the Chiefs are off to a hot start in free agency.
