2025 NBA Playoffs

Stephen A. says Western Conference Finals goes to 7 games if T’Wolves win Game 4

Minnesota came with a sense of urgency in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals after dropping the first two matchups.

Anthony Edwards refused to go into an 0-3 hole versus Oklahoma City, and he went off.

He had a game-high 30 points on 12-of-17 shooting from the field last week in a 143-101 victory for the Timberwolves.

Edwards posted nine rebounds, six assists, and two steals, while making five-of-eight shots from 3-point range. “Ant-Man” was locked in, but his supporting cast was too as Julius Randle (24 points), Jaden McDaniels (10 points), Leonard Miller (11 points), Naz Reid (10 points), Terrence Shannon Jr. (15 points), and Nickeil Alexander-Walker (12 points) all scored in double figures.

He was nervous about the T’Wolves after it lost games one and two, but ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith feels differently after watching it dominate the Thunder in Game 3. He said Minnesota can win the series if it takes Game 4 on Monday.

“If they win tonight, the series is going to seven games,” Smith said on First Take about Minnesota.

“If they lose tonight, it is over Wednesday night.”

Edwards looks to have one of his best games because he refuses to go home.
