Champagnie also drained a Spurs’ franchise-record 11 three-pointers, including four in the fourth quarter that fueled San Antonio’s comeback from a double-digit deficit.
De’Aaron Fox complemented him with 26 points and seven assists, while Victor Wembanyama dominated posting 31 points on 10-12 shooting, 13 rebounds, and a block in just 24 minutes before exiting in the fourth quarter with a slight left knee hyperextension.
For the Knicks, Jalen Brunson led with 29 points and eight assists, but it wasn’t enough to prevent New York’s three-game winning streak to end.
