The sports world was stunned when UConn’s Braylon Mullins hit a 35-foot game-winning three against the Duke Blue Devils in the Elite 8, but no one was as joyful as the state of Connecticut.

Shorty after the shocking play, TikTok user francacorsino shared what it looked like inside a local Connecticut bar when the shot went in. The video later went viral across multiple platforms.

When the shot sank, the silence was broken by triumphant cheers of joy from the Connecticut crowd. Celebration took hold as fans embraced one another after witnessing the incredible play.

Mullins’ heroic shot capped off an impressive comeback by the Huskies, who were down by as many as 19 points in the matchup.

As Dan Hurley and the Huskies look towards their Final Four matchup against Illinois, Sunday’s game showed the world the impact that March Madness can have.
