NFL quarterback Shedeur Sanders has been busy with the Cleveland Browns, but he returned to the University of Colorado on Saturday to officially graduate and secure his degree in Sociology.

While he actually completed all of his courses in 2024, he took the time to return on Saturday to walk across the stage and make it official.

Sanders transferred to Colorado from Jackson State in 2022, joining forces with his father Deion Sanders, who had just become the Buffaloes’ head coach.

After a storied college career, he was drafted by the Browns in the fifth round. He didn’t see much action in the early part of his rookie year, but stepped in for the Browns later in the season when the team dealt with injuries to the QB room.

Sanders started seven games and threw for 1,400 yards and seven touchdowns while going 3-4 in those games.

Now, he’s reportedly in a battle with both Deshaun Watson and Dillon Gabriel for the starting role. But amid the uncertainty in terms of his role on the Browns, Sanders got a well-deserved moment of recognition for his dedication in college.
