Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has accomplished being an NBA All-Star, an All-NBA first team selection, the league’s scoring champion, NBA’s Most Valuable Player, and Most Valuable Player in the Western Conference Finals this season.

The 26-year-old is stacking together an impressive case to be the next face of the league.
Alexander would be the greatest superstar in Oklahoma City Thunder history — surpassing Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook — with an NBA Championship; however, he would also join elite company if he defeats the Indiana Pacers in the NBA Finals. SGA would join Michael Jordan (four times), Shaquille O’Neal (1999-00), and Lew Alcindor (now Kareem Abdual-Jabbar, 1970-71) as the fourth player to win a scoring title, NBA MVP, and an NBA Championship in the same season.

Indiana presents the Thunder with a challenge in having Tyrese Haliburton, Pascal Siakam, and others, but Oklahoma City has big chemistry on its side. Alexander wants a seat at the table as the next marquee superstar and an NBA title gives him that.
He will lead the Thunder in Game 1 Thursday night versus Indiana.
