Veteran NFL quarterback Russell Wilson is officially retiring from the league after 14 seasons, he announced on social media Wednesday.

Wednesday’s post was titled “Thank You, Football” and contained Wilson’s heartfelt tribute to the game. As the montage of images and highlight clips from his career rolled on, he thanked many of the people he spent time with in his career.

He expressed his gratitude towards his former teammates, coaches and fans. Wilson also tanked his children, both of his parents and his wife Ciara.

Near the end of the montage, he confirmed his move to broadcasting.

The confirmation comes after it was reported earlier this week that Wilson was stepping away to join CBS Sports as an NFL analyst.

“I’m blessed to continue doing what I love most, being around the greatest game in the world. … I thank you football. I thank you, I thank you, I thank you,” Wilson said. “I am forever grateful. Love, three.”

Wilson finishes his NFL career as a 10-time Pro Bowler with 46,966 passing yards and 353 passing touchdowns in his career.

He spent 10 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks before short stints with the Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants.
