The Houston Rockets exacted revenge on the Denver Nuggets with a convincing 115-101 win. Just five days after a heartbreaking 128-125 overtime loss to Denver, Houston was ready for this game.

Kevin Durant led the charge for the Rockets with 31 points, going an efficient 5-6 from beyond the arc. Young guard Reed Sheppard proved to be the game-changer, erupting for 28 points, including a pivotal stretch where he scored the final 11 points of the third quarter.

For the Nuggets, little went right on a frustrating night. Nikola Jokic managed 25 points, while Jamal Murray added 16, but the team struggled without key defender Peyton Watson, who missed due to a right trunk bruise.
