LeBron James may be one of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA, but that doesn’t mean he’s desirable. A new report has come out stating that there’s little to no trade interest in the four-time NBA champion.

The report was given by ESPN’s Bobby Marks, who made an appearance on ESPN’s Get Up.

“To be sensitive to LeBron, who’s considered one of the greatest of all time — there isn’t,” Marks said. “He’s making $53 million. He’s 40. Teams aren’t willing to give up four or five players for one season of LeBron.”

There are rumors going around that LeBron may want out of LA, as he’s not confident in the Lakers roster. But he can’t leave if no teams are interested.

Of course adding LeBron would be a boost, since he’s still one of the most popular players in the game. He is also playing at high level, but as the report stated, no team wants to give up half their roster for a 40 year old who is entering his 23rd season.

Despite his stellar numbers, LeBron doesn’t affect the game in the same way as he previously had. LeBron has always been known as the guy who can lift weaker teammates up to perform better than they are.

In recent years, despite having good teammates, his team has often fallen short of expectations. Also, this past season, LeBron had a -54 plus-minus rating when he was playing, meaning LA struggled when he was on the court.

It will be something to keep an eye on, but all signs point to LeBron James staying in LA with the Lakers.
